Beyond Self-Interest: The Journey of Self-Realization

Peace of Mind

April 12, 2026

There is a deep truth hidden in life—one that very few truly understand. Many people will enter your life appearing as friends, guides, or even lovers. But the moment their purpose is fulfilled, they may walk away without hesitation. This is a harsh truth—but a real one.

Most people who come into your life do not truly understand your existence or your inner world. Their purpose is often limited—to use your energy, your support, your emotions. And once their need is met, they leave—like something used and discarded. This is their nature. Before you feel hurt, understand this: it is not personal. It is not your weakness. It is simply a part of life. They, too, are caught in their own patterns. They help when it serves their interest, and leave when it no longer does—like a piece of paper drifting away in the wind.

So what should we do? Should we become like them? No. We cannot be participants in this cycle. We must face this truth within ourselves. We are not meant to become what the world expects of us.

When you truly understand yourself, you stop becoming a victim of others’ self-interest. No relationship or person can fully comprehend your completeness—only you can recognize your true reality. Those who leave you often bring you closer to your own truth. They push you one step further toward self-reliance.

This is the secret of life:

  • Learn from everyone

  • Expect nothing from anyone

When you become aware of yourself, you no longer need to lose yourself in someone else’s dreams. People come into your life to fulfill their purpose—and when that purpose ends, they move on.

Understand this clearly: never place complete expectations on anyone. No one can stay forever without self-interest.

And in this understanding lies true freedom… and true love.
